Cotter House is the most discrete and secluded private retreat in Auckland for confidential Meetings and private events. Its facilities offer the versatility required  for  different types of corporate day meetings, located 10 minutes from downtown Auckland

  • Setting:  Bright and airy in summer,  cozy in winter with gas heated rooms,    opens to courtyards and gardens
  • Meeting types:  we can adapt the venue to suit any particular meeting type:  we cater for top secret gatherings, and highly confidential meetings.

    For Brainstorming, Planning and Training : outdoor settings in the garden and under the veranda for break-out groups.  We serve energy drinks.
  • Challenging Meetings - top level  "Secret and Confidential"
    For Transformation and Negotiation during times of tension - Strategy and Board Meetings : We  offer total exclusivity. We book the entire venue to ensure your privacy and  provide peaceful intimate spaces in a relaxed environment essential to increase productivity.
  • Recognition Events
    For celebrating achievements: we design tailor-made corporate events. We  propose different entertaining options and dining themes. We set-up our ballroom to your requirements.

Private Meeting formats

  • Workshop 'U-Shape' settings - 20 -22 delegates

  • Boardroom (Conference or "H" Shaped)  - up to 20  delegates
  • Classroom settings: 4 tables x 3 or 4  people - max. 16
  • Workshops/seminars round table settings:  (called Cabaret setting, not shown)  for 4-6 people each - up to 16 delegates
  • Theatre style seating:  for presentations and product launches - @ 40 people.

Green Lounge

  • Unwind in a familiar family room setting, large armchairs, Satellite TV and good music.
  • IDEAL FOR  Business Meetings and BREAK-AWAY GROUPS
  • Format: Informal seating
  • Capacity:  6-10 people

Blue Lounge with Morning room (dining room)

  • Allows for Formal Morning or Evening settings  surrounded by antiques and contemporary modern art.
  • IDEAL FOR SMALLER  Lunches, Dinners or meetings

  • Format: Boardroom  setting
  • Capacity:  6-8 people
    Informal Lounge sitting for 8-10

  • Format: seated luncheon
  • Capacity:  8-14 people


Gold Dining room

  • Meetings:  Used for Morning teas, lunch and afternoon tea buffets during workshops.
  • Also offers formal Evening settings for Exquisite dinner parties. 
  • IDEAL FOR SMALLER Dinner Parties of 6-8 people
  • Format: Buffet 
  • Capacity: up to 24 people

  • Format:  seated formal
  • Capacity: Maximum 6 people 

Ballroom

Late Regency 1892– (Size: 1020 sq. ft.)

IDEAL FOR CORPORATE  Break-out Groups
  • Enjoy lunch, afternoon tea, or dinner al-fresco on our lovely Marble terrace .
  • Have afternoon tea by the swimming pool, on the brick paved courtyard or under the wide Copper covered veranda/loggia

Marble  terrace:

  • Format - seated Lunches: 
  • Capacity:  groups of 14 - 18 people.

  • Covered veranda/loggia offers alternative in case of wet weather:
  • Capacity:  seating for groups of 16-20 people.
