We serve delightful breakfasts and dinners. Our guests entertain 'at home' and in Summer, "al fresco"... Relax and enjoy individual and personalised service. We organise your 'special occasions':  French Ritz-style High teas, anniversaries, dinner parties. Cotter House has received the People's Choice awards for Best  Christmas parties in New Zealand.  Gift certificates are available.

We are quite relaxed about the clock and have a very flexible approach to breakfast times. Our priority is to pamper our guests who can enjoy late celebration brunches and a 1pm check-out.   Check in time is from 3pm. Early arrivals can be pre-arranged.

For business travelers we can provide the seclusion and privacy required for highly confidential and top secret meetings. Because Cotter House is not an event centre,  an entertainment facility,  nor a public restaurant,  as a private retreat it offers its guests the exclusiveness, advantages and convenience of the use of its  in-house conferencing facilities with a ballroom and two private business lounges.
