Koru sauvignon Blanc 2006 67.28
Koru Sauvignon Blanc is a single 1 hectare vineyard wine and therefore a true expression of its terroir. The vineyard is situated on the cool lower terrace, of the upper Wairau valley, in Marlborough and planted on stony loam and silt soil with low fertility. It also means that there are only about 500 cases available every year
Hans Herzog Pinot Gris 2007 66.38
A Pinot Noir mutation, which produces soft, gently perfumed wines with more substance and colour than most whites. Rich and full-bodied yet still a dry wine with fine flavours of quince and William pears.

Judges comments included : ‘A lovely elegant, oaky style’ and ‘Excellent!’ ‘Lifted aromas of dark berries with nuances of violets. Palate is rich with distinctive ripe tannins and a lingering, hot finish.’

Exuberant Merlot dominant red with masses of ripe berry and plum flavours that leap from the glass. Deliciously drinkable wine with an impeccable structure of just enough acidity to make it refreshing and a good structure of ripe tannins to give a pleasantly dry finish
Pyramid Valley Eaton family Pinot Noir 2007 96.30
Petits fruits rouges: cherry, redcurrant, wild strawberry; floral and spicy: primrose, cinnamon, nutmeg; also the dusty/earthy note so typical of this site.
Sappy and bright, juicy and insistent; red fruit coulis, redcurrant jelly, delicate notes of cherry and red licorice, and a dusty/spicy register; shows particularly fine tannins.
